We had some basic knowledge of Samba before we attended the course but lacked confidence. The detail given in the lessons on the basic steps was useful not only for beginners, it allowed us to address some of the mistakes we’ve allowed to creep into what we already do. The way in which the basic steps were built up into a routine helped us to memorise it, and the tips on ‘styling’ and varying the routine taught were really helpful, we can make the routine our own. The lessons packed a lot into a short time frame but they were very enjoyable, there were many times we couldn’t dance because we were doubled over with laughing. The music chosen was great, really made us want to dance samba.
My wife and I have gained so much from Phillip and Gaynor. Their enthusiasm to teach dance is abundant, they make learning so fulfilling and personally rewarding. Dancing is such a wonderful pastime for us both to share together, continually encouraged and supported with every step we take.
